On April 26th, Kien Giang University solemnly held the first graduation ceremony of 2024 for 407 new bachelors and 19 engineers.

At the ceremony, 426 students of course 5 (school year 2019 - 2023) and course 6 (school year 2020 - 2024) were awarded diplomas, including 5 international students from the Kingdom of Cambodia and Laos.

Graduation results included 16 students ranking excellent, 74 students ranking good, and 256 students ranking fair.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector in charge of Kien Giang University said that at this graduation ceremony, 327/426 new graduates had jobs before graduating (reaching 75%).

Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh congratulated the new graduates and new engineers receiving their diplomas and always having the confidence and courage to enter their lives to earn their living, starting their careers, to be successful, glorious, happy and properous.

Dr. Thanh also sent his gratitude to the teachers for their dedicated orientation, guidance, encouragement, and utmost care and sharing so that the students could successfully complete their academic tasks, and sent his thanks to the parents trusting and having chosen Kien Giang University for their children to gain success as they do today. He thanked the businesses accompanying the school in training high-quality human resources for the labor market and society.

Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh hoped that the new graduates would apply the knowledge and skills learned to their work, set goals for themselves to conquer in the next journey, and always maintain the will, energy, and their belief in life and their self-belief, always be wise in every circumstance to succeed and contribute to continuing to affirm the brand and create the value for the school.

Representing the students to express their gratitude, Tran Thi Nhu Y, a bachelor of Business Administration, emotionally expressed: “Thank teachers for your dedication in every lecture, every test, every exam, and the practical activities as well as every students’ event, and meanwhile for being a companion in students’ life, for creating a fair and civilized learning environment.”

“We sincerely thank the school for providing a high-quality learning environment where we have developed and matured. The constant effort of the school and teachers in training mission was something we always appreciate and are grateful for" - Nhu Y shared.

On this occasion, Kien Giang University awarded certificates of merits to 90 students achieving excellent and good ranking achievements, and organized job placement consulting for the 2023 - 2024 school year for students in all over the school.
